Letβs compare how the real estate market in Monmouth and Ocean counties performed in April compared to last year. Due to concerns with COVID-19 and state shut down, there was a huge drop in the amount of homes that went on the market last month compared to last year. The number of homes and condos that sold in both counties were also down, with a bigger drop in the number of closed cash sales. The pandemic did not appear to have an effect on home prices, where you see the average sales prices in both categories rose.
