📈Let’s compare how the real estate market in Monmouth and Ocean counties performed in March compared to last year. 📊Check out the infographics I created based on the information supplied by the Monmouth Ocean Regional Realtors (MORR).
📉Less homes (condos and single families) sold in April of 2022 compared to last year, likely due to ongoing inventory woes (25-37% less than 2021). Prices increased as well, most notably in the Monmouth County condo market and Ocean County single family home and condo market. Ocean County single family homes and Monmouth County condos spent less time on the market and sold about twice as fast as last April as well. With rising interest rates and economic uncertainty, it is tough to say which direction we are headed but for now it remains a very strong seller’s market.
