📈Let’s compare how the real estate market performed in April 2023 compared to April 2022 in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
📉April saw a larger decline in the number of home sold from April 2022. In Monmouth County, single family home prices were up 13% (!) from last year’s figures, while condos went up just over 8% from 2022. In Ocean County, prices in both categories were down, but just slightly in the mid 3% range. Average days on market was up in both counties, with Ocean County single family homes seeing a larger jump from 27 to 43 days on market.
