August 2020 – Monmouth/Ocean County Real Estate Market Report
Monthly market reports
📈Let’s compare how the real estate market in Monmouth and Ocean counties performed in August 2020 compared to last year.
Lack of inventory in both counties is continuing to lead to higher prices. The average sales price in Monmouth County is up almost 21% from last year and is up a little over 16% this year in Ocean County. Homes are staying on market a little less time that last year and frequently getting very close to asking (and in many cases, list price or over) due to the amount of eager buyers in the market and the low interest rates.
