Let’s compare how the real estate market in Monmouth and Ocean counties performed in May compared to last year.
As has been the case in previous months, we still continue to have low inventory levels resulting in higher purchase prices. It is also to be noted that in Monmouth County in May 2021, there were twice as many cash sales for both single family homes and condos compared to last May. Ocean County also saw an uptick in cash sales.
