What types of things do you look for in a home that take your furry BFF into account? What about home renovations? Have you added a fence? Installed a pet door? Ruled out a particular house because of stairs for an aging pet?
When I was looking for a pet friendly rental in Monmouth County, it was hard! Luckily, after a lengthy search I was able to find a place that accommodated both my dog and my cat. I've since moved to a pet friendly condo and I'm lucky that animals are welcome. For me my pets are the #1 priority in finding a new home. Even if it was my dream location, I would not THINK of renting or buying where there were none allowed, as re-homing is not an option. Most people that own pets feel this way which means finding places to go with your animals can be challenging!
